TruJoy Organic Original Fruit Chews and Choco Chews (Gluten-Free)

Reviewed and edited by a celiac disease expert.
TruJoy Organic Original Fruit Chews and Choco Chews (Gluten-Free) -

When I first put an orange flavored TruJoy Organic Original Fruit Chew in my mouth and began chewing, I soon noticed an intense explosion of orange flavor. It reminded me a bit of the Starburst candies that I used to eat as a child—but instead of containing corn syrup and artificial junk—these chews are organic and contain real fruit juice and cane sugar.

Open Original Shared LinkThe texture and chewiness was great, and it seemed to last forever. Other flavors in the package included strawberry, cherry and lemon, and each of them was just as wonderful and intense as the orange.

I also got a bag of TruJoy Organic Choco Chews, and again, when I put one in my mouth and chewed it I was brought back to an old favorite of mine called a Tootsie Roll, but like the Organic Fruit Chews, the Organic Choco Chews use only organic and natural ingredients, and you can really tell the difference.

Another think I like about this company is that they are a member of “1% For The Planet,” and donate a minimum of 1% of their revenue to organizations that support environmental causes.

If you like healthier versions of some of your favorite candies, and like companies that contribute to the environment, TruJoy chews are a perfect fit.

I tried these samples today and thought they were really great.  These fully prepared frozen gluten-free meatballs are fully cooked and just need to be heated for about 90 seconds in the microwave before they are ready to eat—meatballs couldn’t be easier.
They tasted great, and would make a perfect addition to a nice plate of gluten-free spaghetti.  The meatballs are perfectly seasoned and have a nice Italian meatball taste—probably due to the Ricotta and Romano cheeses used in the ingredients.  On top of all this these meatballs are organic, have zero grams of Trans Fat per serving, and they don’t contain any artificial ingredients or preservatives!

Kay's Naturals makes snacking healthy, and they have done it yet again. The leader of high-protein, gluten-free snacks has come out with another delicious product. Cinnamon flavored, almond butter-filled Cookie Bites by Kay's Naturals, is a scrumptious bite sized cookie snack that tastes good right out of the box, or poured in a bowl with your favorite milk. Kay's Cinnamon Cookie Bites are light, flaky and crunchy all rolled into one full-flavored bite. The almond flavor is subtle and not over-powering, and each bite is coated with just the right amount of cinnamon, so it stay's flavorful (and crunchy) in milk.
Not only are Kay's all natural Cookie Bites tasty, they're healthy too. Kay's Cookie Bites are made with all natural ingredients; no GMO ingredients are used  to make Kay's products....

Celiac.com 03/08/2011 - I was so happy to discover Shabtai Gourmet's gluten-free Swiss chocolate roll. The first thing noticed was how easy it was to slice and how beautifully each slice looked. The smell of rich chocolate was overwhelming in the most wonderful of ways.  After the first bite, I knew we were going to reorder again and soon!  The chocolate sponge cake was moist and the crème filling gave the perfect compliment to the rich dark chocolate coating.  It was such a delicious treat for my entire family and not to mention that it is also certified kosher for passover as well.

Celiac.com 10/23/2014 - If you are someone who likes getting a surprise in the mailbox on a regular basis, a delivery of new gluten-free products from Send Me Gluten Free is definitely something you should try.
Each month a variety of gluten-free items will arrive on your doorstep in a bright orange box.  The ability to try different products and compare them is a smart idea.  For example, in the box I received, there were bar/granola products from three different companies, and two bags of chips (lentil and apple), along with personal care products and coupons which could be used on future purchases.
