Scott Adams

In 1994 I was diagnosed with celiac disease, which led me to create Celiac.com in 1995. I created this site for a single purpose: To help as many people as possible with celiac disease get diagnosed so they can begin to live happy, healthy gluten-free lives. Celiac.com was the first site on the Internet dedicated solely to celiac disease. In 1998 I created The Gluten-Free Mall, Your Special Diet Superstore!, and I am the co-author of the book Cereal Killers, and founder and publisher of Journal of Gluten Sensitivity.

I am pleased to announce Celiac.com's new Celiac Support Group Master Calendar! Once registered at Celiac.com, our new calendar will allow you to enter and edit your group's events at a single, convenient location. We encourage all celiac disease support groups to make use of this great new feature.
In an effort to standardize all entries, I ask that you please follow these basic guidelines for calendar entries:
When you add an event there is a "Short Title" box that is only 10 characters long. This is what will appear on the "Monthly View" of the calendar. Please enter your state's two letter abbreviation, for example CA for California, followed by a slash and your support group's abbreviation, for example GIG for Gluten intolerance group. If there is anything else you can fit in here add anything else after this information. Here is what a "Short Title" entry might look like: CA/GIG/. Additional info might look like this: CA/GIG/PHX, or FL/CSA/MIA, or AZ/ROCK.
REGULAR MEETING ENTRY TIP: If you want to enter multiple entries for your group such as a regular monthly meeting that might have the same description, after you submit the first event click the back button on your browser, change any information that needs to be changed such as the date, and submit the form again. This will save a lot of time when entering regular group meetings.
Help us improve our service to the celiac disease community by taking the time to answer our new Celiac.com Survey. I thank you in advance for your valued participation, and assure that we are listening to your responses!
