Hi,
I was diagnosed about three years ago at age 60. I guess now I understand why my GI tract was always my weak spot - the slightest problem in life and I felt it there.
Anyway, after I got to not absorbing any nutrients - was anemic, had thin bones, etc. and started fainting due to dehydration, a GI doctor figured out what I had. Now the 35 pounds I lost are back with 5 of their friends but I feel terrific.
My job requires frequent travel and a lot of business meals out.
