I was born and raised in Bridgeport, CT in 1949.  Graduate of high school and some college although I have no college degree.  I married for the first time in 1970 and was widowed in 1972.  I remarried in 1976, had a son in 1977 and relocated to NJ and was divorced in 1984.  I remarried again 1985 and remain happily married to this day.   We now live in OH.

Working Information:  I have been a legal assistant/secretary for 35-years in many settings from in-house departments, small and large firms in CT, NJ and OH.

Medical History:  Approximately 15 years ago I was diagnosed with Graves Disease; however, treated successfully until six years ago when unable to control the dosage.  In addition, I experienced incredible digestive problems and was treated for IBS.  Additionally, suffered from intense muscular contractions in back, legs, fingers and toes. Underwent colonoscopies and various medications and tests.  Not until April 2007 when the (new) endocrinologist suspected something was not right and ran the Celiac blood test which, of course, resulted in a positive diagnosis.  So, now I understood what probably kicked off the thyroid problem (or perhaps the thyroid kicked of the celiac)?  But I’ve had digestive problems on and off throughout my life so, who knows?
