Jules Shepard is the author of the popular cookbook, Nearly Normal Cooking for Gluten-Free Living, as well as the forthcoming book, The First Year: Celiac Disease. Diagnosed with celiac disease in 1999, she draws on personal experience in her consulting work and gluten-free cooking classes. She is credited with the development of a truly all purpose gluten-free flour mixture that has revolutionized homemade gluten-free baking.
