Credit for this blog goes to my husband, who has consistently encouraged me to write and study about celiac since my diagnosis. The first hints I had celiac came from a routine doctor's visit just prior to our wedding (in August of 2007). However, he had the more traumatic results from his pre-marital check-up: thyroid cancer! Thankfully, we both are doing well. I am a RN and enjoy researching the medical intricacies of this disease. My hope through blogging is to help others learn (anything), develop comradarie among other dealing with celiac, and force myself to reflect upon what I am learning and facing in this process.
