
For 10 years I have struggled with a skin dermatitis that would cover my scalp. At first I thought it was just normal dandruff. But then I saw that it related to my diet. When I ate salads or just meat and veggies my scalp would be clear but when I ate other foods it would come back and have several blisters around my face. Finally my MD said that since I was lactose intolerant and have anemia, perhaps I should tests for a wheat allergy. Wasn't too keen on giving up breads but thought I should experiment and just not have anything with wheat in it. After 3 weeks I saw a HUGE difference and felt more comfortable at night (no more scratching or scalp irritation!). My dermatitis was gone and the bumps and blisters healed well. Its been 3 months since I last had wheat and my skin is great (not to mention the relief in bloating and gas). Amazing how serious of a role the daily diet plays when it comes to your health.
