My name is Inger Weaver. I am 37 years old. I was diagnosed with celiac disease almost 11years ago. I now weigh 96 lbs. I have 7.5 lesions on my brain. A neurologist told me yesterday that it was not MS but could be caused by celiac disease. I was floored! I had never known this. Sometimes my speech is slurred, I get dizzy, my body tremors uncontrollably. I live in constant pain. I also has spondylosis: arthritis of the spine. I have been telling many doctors that something is really wrong with me. They just didn't act on it. You must be your own advocate. I have offered myself to research but to no avail yet. UVA did use my pathologies for student studies. I was purely gluten-free for two years. I weighed 86lbs. until recently when I began cheating. I know..bad me! Some days I feel like an 80 year old woman. My husband and son were in the room with me when a colleague of my gastroenterologist walked in and told me I had MS. I have spent so much time researching that disease. Autoimmune disorders are rough. I have seen so many doctors and I am being treated for gastroparesis. My stomach only empties at 24% on a scale of 0 to 60. I take Domperidone 4 times a day. I hope it helps. I live with nausea 24 hours a day as well. I want to be able to do so much with my little girl. I used to be so hyper, very active, and now I'm stuck on a heating pad a lot. I have tried all the gluten free food available to me. Well this is my first blog ever. I hope I don't down anybody but maybe you can relate. I just want you to know that you are not alone. May all wellness come your way! Amen...
