Although I do not have celiac disease, two of my siblings do. I have found it unfair for them to suffer and I be the only one who is perfectly healthy. But since my sister (now 22) was first diagnosed in 2005, I have been able to learn a lot. My brother (now 20) was diagnosed in 2007. My sister was sick for a couple years and ended up in the hospital for a couple weeks before the tests concluded that she had celiac disease. She suffered more than any one else in the family.
