Mongolian beef is one of my favorite Asian dishes, but it's often made with Hoisin sauce, which often includes wheat flour, so I usually avoid the temptation to order it when I'm out. This gluten-free version is sure to please.

After a recent trip to Japan, I was determined to find a teriyaki recipe that was gluten-free. This easy recipe makes a delicious teriyaki marinade that will help you to prepare a wonderful chicken teriyaki.

Gal-bi, or beef ribs are my very favorite Korean food. The Koreans know a thing or two about grilling ribs, and good Korean barbecue will hold its own against the very best anywhere. In addition to being tasty, it's easy to prepare and cooks up quickly with very little effort.

Recently, I was visiting a good old friend. For dinner one night, he grilled us a couple of tuna steaks encrusted with wasabi and toasted black and white sesame seeds. It was easily one of the most delicious things I've had in a long time.

Pad Thai is the perfect Asian dish to make when you want to add a slightly spicy and tangy taste to your dinner.

As a kid, shrimp was one of my perpetual favorite foods. If something had shrimp in it, I'd probably eat try it. Shrimp is the reason I first tried dishes as diverse as gumbo, teriyaki, scampi, fried rice and coconut curry.

I love miso soup, but whenever I've made it at home, I've never been able to get the full, deep, rich, complex flavor that I routinely have at my favorite Japanese restaurants. That's because, until recently, I hadn't discovered the secrets of dashi.

You can serve the resulting meat with potatoes and gravy for a chicken-fried steak-style cutlet, or with rice and curry sauce for a more Asian flare. You could also serve it with pasta and tomato sauce and cheese for a delicious chicken, veal or pork Parmesan.

There is so much to love about this southeast Asian desert. It’s creamy and sweet and it tastes great warm or cold. It’s also simple to put together and one of those meals that just tastes like summer.

This dish is warm and filling and goes great over rice or gluten-free noodles. The roasted chilies and peppers heighten the soft texture of the mushrooms.

Throughout southeast Asia, street vendors prepare cheap, delicious noodles on the spot. Place an order and watch the cook's hands become a blur of ingredients dancing in a hot wok. A flash of alchemy and heat turn oil, meat, vegetables, and noodles into a piping hot delicacy that can be enjoyed just about any time of day.
