Breadfruit is a starchy fruit that grows mainly in the Pacific Islands. It is highly nutritious, with high fiber, potassium and vitamin C content, as well as a low glycemic index. Signa Haiti's 100% Gluten-Free Breadfruit Flour captures these nutritive qualities and makes a tasty wheat flour alternative.

One of the biggest complaints I have about the gluten-free food industry is that corn is usually brought in to fill the gaping whole left by the removal of wheat. Corn tastes great and all, but personally, I prefer a more nutritious wheat alternative whenever possible, so long as it still tastes good (which many do, e.g. quinoa and buckwheat).

I have always been a little unsure what to think of probiotics. My mother raised me to take acidophilus supplements religiously, but I could never find any evidence to suggest that the pills actually improved my health. After two weeks taking Vidazorb Super C Chewable Probiotics, I think I have my first substantial evidence that probiotics actually do something.

I tried Bold Organics' Deluxe Gluten-Free Pizza yesterday, and I must say that I am impressed. It includes pepperoni, Italian sausage, roasted peppers, onions, Shiitake mushrooms...

    The finished Gluvana cupcakes.

For my first gluten-free baking experience, I made vanilla cupcakes with orange-flavored frosting using Gluvana Complete Gluten-Free All Purpose Mix. I also made a batch of gluten-containing cupcakes using the same recipe to allow for comparison. I didn't do blind taste testing or anything like that, but I can honestly say that the cupcakes made with Gluvana's flour were better.

When I first read the box for this lemon tart, I wasn't exactly excited. I didn't think anything that was gluten-free, free of added sugar, vegan and raw could taste like anything other than cardboard and/or grass.

Fish oil supplements provide well-established health benefits, but they are especially beneficial for celiacs because they aid in the recovery of fat levels and reduce intestinal inflammation. Eagle Therapeutics' CeliAct Fish Oil is tailored specifically to the needs of celiacs: taking CeliAct alone is great, but you really need that extra fat to heal your intestines.

I love pizza, but I am not on a gluten-free or dairy-free diet, so I am admittedly a bit skeptical of gluten-free or dairy-free pizzas. This pizza is both, and surprisingly, I was into it.

I just tried Kay's Naturals gluten free almond delight protein puffs and I have to say that they were not a disappointment.

If your looking for a quick grab and go breakfast or a satisfying snack that is gluten free, dairy free and also vegan, then I would suggest Amy's Gluten-free Tofu Scramble Breakfast Wrap.  You can either microwave it just shy of 2 minutes, or put it in the oven if you prefer a crispier wrap.

Petit Bites Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Coconut Nibbles are not your traditional coconut macaroon, and maybe that's why I might just consider it my favorite.

Great news for anyone who is not only on a gluten free diet, but Bold Organics Veggie Lovers Pizza is also dairy free and vegan.

I am not a fan of any flavored gluten free instant oatmeal, but this is Apple Pie instant oatmeal from Bakery On Main is the exception to my rule.

Who said gluten-free frozen foods never taste good and fresh? When I had my first bite of Amy's Broccoli and Cheddar Bake I could not believe that it was a frozen product.

I recently discovered Bold Organics gluten and dairy free meat lovers thin crust pizza. There are very few gluten and dairy free pizzas on the market, but I have to say that this was the best that I have tried to this date.

I just discovered a gluten free Kosher (for Passover) Cookbook that is primarily based for those who follow Ashkenazi traditions.  It has over 90 gluten-free passover recipes and is the first recipe book that I have found to be kosher as well as gluten-free.

Traditionally, Matzo (also known as Matzah or Matza) is an unleaved bread that is eaten during the week long Jewish holiday known as Passover; however I just found an amazing gluten free Matzo that I will be sure to have on hand year round.

I recently tried Jovial Foods' Gluten-Free Organic Brown Rice Penne Rigate Pasta and was looking forward making my Grandmother's baked ziti dish using this penne rigate pasta.  Since I am super sensitive to gluten, I love the fact that Jovial Foods make their pasta in a dedicated gluten free facility and that it is also certified gluten-free.

Needing extra protein in your gluten free diet? Then I would highly suggest trying biPro's gluten free unflavored whey protein.

I was very surprised when I received a care package of Hail Merry's gluten-free blonde macaroons.  I absolutely love coconut and have always had bit of a sweet tooth, but in the past I haven't always had the best of luck with gluten-free macaroons.
