When I first opened the package of Squirrel’s Bakery Gluten-Free Coconut and Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars I was surprised by their unique shape: The package contained two bars that are approximately 2.5” x 3” and they are around an inch thickso they resemble a brownie in size and shape.  They aren't kidding when they use the terms “thick & hearty” to describe these cookie bars...

It has been a while since I’ve tried Tasty Bite products, so when their samples arrived a few days ago I was reminded of just how simple their products are to prepare—most require only 90 seconds in the microwave and they are ready to eat.

Over the weekend my wife made a batch of Doodles Cookies Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix.  This gluten free cookie mix is very easy to prepare...

Purity Gluten-Free Bread is an amazing product for many reasons.  First off it is cultured for 8 hours (you can notice a slight sourdough flavor), so it is easier to digest...

Today I tried a product that many celiacs should appreciate—a delicious Raspberry Attune Gluten-Free Probiotic Chocolate Bar.  The amazing thing about these bars is that they contain five times the live cultures as yogurt, so they would be an especially important addition to anyone’s diet who has celiac disease.

There is no skimping on ingredients or quality when it comes to Brookfarm’s Gluten-Free Macadamia Muesli.  This meusli is a true medley of gluten-free grains, and it includes buckwheat, brown rice, and amaranth—but there’s more…it also contains macadamia nuts, cranberries, raisins, soy flour and pumpkin kernels.

I just discovered a whole new world in gluten free grocery shopping!  Zeer.com (www.zeer.com) is an easy-to-use Web site that offers a service, called Zeer Select, to those on a gluten-free diet.

The other night I picked up a pint of Dark Chocolate Coconut Bliss ice cream from my local Whole Foods store, and my family and I had it for dessert after dinner.

We tried out Organic Gourmet’s Vegetable Seasoning Stock Concentrate, which is a gluten-free and organic.  It dissolved easily in the hot water and the first thing we noticed was the array of colors from the organic herbs and vegetables.

I've always had trouble getting my kids to eat salads, so when I first saw this recipe I immediately wondered if this would be the one that "does the trick," and convinces them that salads are not just good for you, but can also taste good too.

I love pizza, and being gluten-free put a pretty serious crimp in my ability to enjoy a fresh, custom-made pizza.

When I was growing up, one of the favorite things for my brother and I to have for dinner was fish sticks served hot out of the oven along with our favorite French fries.

I have a deep and abiding love for chicken nuggets. I associate tasty breaded chicken nuggets with growing up, as they were an integral part of happy childhood dinners.

The smell of toast filling the room in the morning. A perfectly toasted piece of white bread transformed to a perfectly golden brown at the center and at the edges, an aroma packed with memories, evoking deep sighs and wistful smiles.
