I never thought I would get to eat tempura again, once I went gluten-free. Then I found this recipe. Not only is the following tempura batter recipe gluten-free, it is also, egg-free, dairy-free, corn-free, nut-free, and soy-free.

Gluten-Free Noodle Salad (photo courtesy of House of Sims)
This is a light dish that can be served as a meal or eaten as a side dish. The ingredients can vary depending on your taste buds. Preparation for this Thai salad is very minimal and with the right ingredients, this is a perfect quick gluten-free meal. This salad is light so it is perfect for those hot summer nights when you don't want to eat a heavy meal.

Gluten-Free Pork Dumpling Recipe (photo courtesy of avlxy2)
The following recipe is in it's most traditional form. However, don't be afraid to experiment. For example, try replacing the ground pork with chicken or  shredded cabbage and sliced carrots. Adding ginger or garlic will produce a spicier dumpling.  For those that are intolerant of corn, experiment with flours that you can use-I prefer tapioca or rice flour myself.  Don't forget to make sure all of you ingredients, including your soy sauce and spices are gluten-free.

It's Chinese New Year and spring rolls are a must have for a traditional Chinese dinner. After a spring roll is deep fried, the skin turns golden, and the color and the shape of the spring roll represent a "gold bar."  Serving spring rolls during Chinese New Year is done to present "gold" to guests and wish all the guests luck in making more money in the coming year.
