    Cinnamon and Rosemary Roasted Peanuts (Gluten-Free)
    This recipe makes a great snack that is perfect when you have a few guests over.

    The decadent, borderline sinful combination of bacon and blue cheese is one I use sparingly, but with the season of dinner parties upon us, I can’t think of a better reason to break it out.

    It doesn’t really feel like autumn until there’s a big bowl of pumpkin seeds waiting on the kitchen table. They’re best fresh but can be stored in the freezer for up to a month. I prefer my seeds on the spicy side, but this recipe can easily be toned down without one of the chili powders. A sweeter version with honey, cinnamon and brown sugar is great on yogurt or cereal.

    Butter and fresh tarragon were once my go-to dressing for carrots, but my flaring sweet tooth recently pulled me in a slightly different direction. This recipe turned out to be just sweet enough to rival dessert. This is a great dish to serve when you have guests, especially if you can get your hands on rainbow carrots.

    I find baby artichokes a little underrated; they’re easier to handle and usually cheaper. I tried these for the first time on the grill, but it’s just as easy to toss together and roast. I happened to have pistachios on hand the second time around and they turned out to be the secret star of this dish.

    I never get tired of turning sweet fruit into a savory dessert. Anjou and Bosc pears are easy to find this time of year. Their denser flesh makes them perfect for baking and roasting.

    As summer comes to an end, this fresh salad is a great way to enjoy the last flavors of the sunny months. Citrus brings out the best in beets and compliments the sweet blueberries. The creamy dressing pairs nicely with other fruit as well, I like to make a little extra for my lunch or breakfast.

    A good Cobb salad is a satisfying culinary delight! Cobb salad is one of the easiest summertime salads to toss together, and one of my favorite to eat for lunch on a warm day.

    Nothing beats the phenomenal taste and texture of fresh-baked granola. Oats have traditionally been controversial in the celiac and gluten-free community. Though research is still not definitive, it appears that most people with celiac disease can in fact tolerate oats.

    This lighter version of a typical baba ghanoush has a kick all its own from jalapeños. Serve with vegetables, gluten-free chips, or use as a sandwich spread.

    Great, fresh year round fruit salad. Good compliment to with most dishes or alone as a dessert. Colorful too!

    So often I hear people asking how to make their own  healthy, gluten-free snacks. The following nut cracker recipe is easy, inexpensive, and yes it's also healthy. Feel free to substitute the nuts and seeds listed below for other nuts or seeds of your preference. I always like to soak my nuts before using them; soaked nuts are much easier to digest.

    Ingredients: 2 Cups Flour (Replace with gluten-free flour blend) 1 Teaspoon Salt ¼ Cup Bu
