I used the rosemary as called for and I used lemon juice and lemon zest.   The flavors of fresh rosemary and pumpkin puree with the limited amount of sugar called for in the recipe, did not give me a taste I would associate with a piece of apple strudel.<br/><br/>

Confused already.  1. Makes 8 strudels?    2. The photo  shows a rolled strudel slice (which is made from a very thin pastry dough).
How do you end up with 8 strudels? or even 1 strudel when all ingredients are spread evenly into a baking dish and the flour mixture is poured on top? This will not come out looking the the photo or 'strudel' - not mentioning the addition of rosemary?  Sounds more like it could be an 'apple crumble' except you say it is unique and not like that.  ?? Not makin' it!<br/><br/>
