Red Robin has some salads that- get this- DON'T come with croutons! They are sprinkled with crunchy colorful scrumptious fried tortilla strips. I had the really good chicken Santa Fe, I think it's called. With the dressing. And I had the strawberry "freckled" lemonade. Dee-lish.
Then, less than a week later, I went again. Had the exact. same. thing. And- wham! Glutened again.
Must've been cross-contamination. Even though the salad doesn't come with naughty gluten-laden stuff, I still inform the server of my condition...darn. Now, I'll have a "fear" of eating out for awhile...until I travel to D.C. next week! haha
