My sister who is 19, she lives in Wilkes-barre, well more of Nanticoke/Alden. She isn't right in the city. She really likes it there. My family actually lives north of Scranton, in Susquehanna county. No one ever heard of it when I say it so I usually just say Scranton.
Both the Valley and Scranton have Wegmans and that is a nice place for Celiacs. You can get a lot of mainstream products under their brand name which are labeled gluten free. They also have a gluten-free section in the Nature's marketplace. I love that store.
Outback Steakhouse, has a gluten free menu. I reccomend the Alice Springs Chicken, very good. The Minoka Pastry shop...off I-81 Montage Mt/Davis St has the Grainless baker products, they are also good. Bread Wise, cookie wise, they help alot.
If you need any other help just PM me. I have been doing this a few years now.

I've been basically living at Wegman's lately...

Are you talking about the Minoka bakery? My boyfriend said he noticed a sign that said gluten free in the window there. I was wondering if it's the same place. It's on the way down to the birney plaza.

If not the same one your talking about I'll have to find the one you are.
