I live in Northern CA and have been gluten free since 2005. My pseudo mother-in-law has been gluten free for around 10 years and it was very handy to have her around for advice when I was first eliminating the gluten from my diet. I suggest the gluten free diet for anyone having health-related issues, and one of my friends started going gluten free in June 2008 and within 4 days she was having positive results.

I've had arthritis since I was 6 years old, and have spent most of my life explaining to people that yes, young people can have arthritis too. If anything positive has come from my two illnesses, its well, I've learned to be a strong and independent, and to speak up and ask questions.
