I just got a recipe out of a magazine for a potato pie that is sort of like a cottage/shepard's pie. Called for cooked ground beef, a can of Mexi corn, can of creamed corn all mixed together then topped with mashed potatoes and baked.

I only tried one store but they didn't have any Mexi corn. They did have Southwestern corn (a discontinued item) and it was similar but with black beans in it. I just bought that and used it. I have assembled the pie but we haven't eaten it yet.

Mexi corn is not something I buy very often but I know I used to get it in the past.

If they still make it, can you tell me what the brand is?

Thanks!

I think its Green Giant, I usually have a can but not his time. You can also find that southwestern type corn in the frozen veggie section.

Okay, thanks! We are eating dinner now and this stuff is REALLY good. Daughter doesn't like the black beans so much though so I'd rather do it without.
