  1. Exclusively Gluten-Free Restaurants

    G.F.Cucina's in Sterling Heights, Michigan
  2. My stepfather got shingles on his face, in his mouth and ears which is called Ramsey Hunt Syndrome. In doing some search on the internet some sites also connect celiac disease to it? Has anybody heard of this?
  3. HI, That was how I felt a last year after the holidays and blamed that at first. I finally went on the generic version and it is gluten free. I have been doing fine on the generic version, so it may be worth checking into. Good Luck.
  4. I thought I had read or heard that too. I just checked the boxes of chex I have and didn't see anything. I do have a Betty Crocker gluten free cake mix and it does say that it is made in a gluten free facility.
  5. Hi, My blood test was negative, but I went gluten free anyway. I have a little sister that was diagnosed at a year old. I had been eating gluten light for a couple of years. I had so many symptoms disappear that I had complained about for years, that I wouldn't go back now. Good LUc, Wendy
  6. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  7. HI, I was at my son in laws relatives for Easter. Someone in the family is marketing a new salad dressing. She gave me two bottles. I did taste one while I was there. It is gluten free and will say it on the label on the next batch. It is called Middle Eastern Delites Fatoush Dressing or Mediterranean Garlic Dressing. I know that it is available at Westborn Market, Meijer's, Whole Foods and others. It has been on the shelves for about a week now. I just thought I would share this with you. They have a website:
  8. That is always so nice to see. Thank you for sharing the news.
  9. I got the results from my blood test. My phosphorus level was fine. They did say that if blood sits in a test tube too long that can happen. It does make you wonder if this could happen to any results.
  10. I did manage to get my blood drawn today. I am worried about what the outcome could be after checking out the website.
  11. Thanks for your reply RiceGuy. The more I am reading about this the more worried I am getting. I hope I can go tomorrow for them to draw the blood. I think what surprises me the most is that I had this bloodwork done over a month ago. I can't believe they waited that long to call me. It isn't the normal thing for my doctor's office. I will ask why so long tomorrow. I will keep you posted as I find out myself. Thanks again, Wendy
  12. I got home from work yesterday and had a message to call my doctor's office. I called today and found out they want another blood test because my last one showed that my phosphorus was high. The nurse did say it could be a lab error also. Just wondered if anyone had heard of that before.
  13. This is so great to hear. I was thrilled when the Rice Chex first came out. Now we are even getting variety. Thanks for sharing the news.
  14. Just for your information the name brand synthroid can no longer be guaranteed that they are gluten free according to I started taking the generic form which is gluten free.
  15. I take Singulair and it is on the list.
