  1. I have a question for voteforpresbush04....do you remember what lays chips were made on dedicated gluten-free lines? I just started the gluten-free diet about 5 days ago and I have been eating them. I havent had any problems but I want to be as gluten free as I can get! I usually eat the baked lays, ruffles and tostitos. Thanks!
  2. Hey everyone - I had a blood test done and was wondering what you guys think. My IGA was a 22 (weak positive) and my IGG was 102 (very strong positve) and the tissue transglutaminase IG test came back negative. I have been diagnosed with IBS for about 5 years now and I am always talking to people on an IBS message board who say I should go on a gluten-free diet. Has anyone else had tests come back like these? Also is there any posts in the past for newbies with shopping lists or that sort of thing - Im going to go to the health food store tomorrow to buy all the essentials - any suggestions? Thanks!
  3. I have heard from a lot of people that the next step after a blood test is an endoscopy. Have any of you had one and was it bad? Im not even sure what it is really but I have an idea?
  4. Hello, I have been following an IBS safe diet forever and now my blood tests showed I may have celiac. With the IBS diet soymilk is substituted for real milk but I noticed its not good for celiac. Is there any kind that is?
  5. Hello, Im new here. Ive actually been told I had IBS since I was about 16 and have been following the diet for it and even taking the medications for it. I recently had a blood test and my results came back with an extremely high gliadin AB IGG number. My IGA was only 2 above the positive number so it was a weak positive and my tissure tranglutaminase IG came back negative. I cant go to the doctor until next week to discuss it and its driving me crazy! Does anyone know what this means or what it could mean. Ive tried to read up on it and figure it out myself and what Im guessing is that my IGG number is so high because my diet has a LOT of breads in it. (Bread is what your basically supposed to base your diet on with IBS) If anyone has any answers please help me out! I would REALLY appreciate it!
