  1. I am a freak about gluten because of the constant pain, and I do not eat out ever. I will try the caesin and soy thing though.
  2. I was diagnosed with Celiac a little over 2 years ago. Since then I have still had severe abdominal pain and want to be rushed to the ER at times. Four months ago, I had my second endoscopy to check for healing. I never had the blood test done. The healing came back a little better?????? My GI told me that because it had been over the 2 year mark, that was as good as it was going to get and sent me back to my family physician. She is now treating me, with what she calls, the worst IBS she has ever seen. I have been on numerous different medications and none are helping. Bentyl worked for about a month, I am now on Librax, 1 pill every 4 hours, after 2 hours, the pain returns. Does anyone have chronic abdominal pain. I know my Celiac pain is different feeling pain then my IBS. I keep telling her that it isn't where my IBS pain typically is and that it doesn't feel the same. I am 36 yrs old and have had IBS diagnosed at 20. Any suggestions on what to do next, where to go, anything that helped others.
  3. My reactions are severe. Yesterday, I had lunch and 15 minutes later my stomach started to hurt. 30 min later I was throwing up and my stomach hurt so bad I wanted to die. By an hour I was still throwing up and had D. Stomach hurts so bad that I want to go to the ER, although for what??? nothing they can do. I am still in pain, not throwing up, but still have D. I have no idea what I ate, It seems that every week, month there is something else that makes me sick. I can no longer eat eggs, fresh fruit/veggies. It seems that eventually I won't be able to eat at all. I find that most gluten free foods ordered have a lot of eggs, dairy, etc in them. Anyways, typically it takes a good week to stop feeling pain, tired, depression, irritability, etc. Frustration is always there. My GI basically gave up and said there is nothing more they can do for me. Any ideas.
  4. Night Terrors

Wow, it is nice to know that I am not alone. I have, since my teens; I am now 35, had horrible dreams. Things like my children and family members being buried alive and me watching helplessly to being chased by murderers. I figured it must have been something I watched as a child. I never considered it might be Celiac. Has anyone spoken to DR. about this? What advise was given? I still have them, occasionally. Gluten-free for 18 mo.
  5. Whats Going On Now

I agree. I would have your Iron checked. I have been struggling with Anemia for about 8 years. I have had 4 children, all c-sections, and my level was 6 before my last one in 2005. I was put on Iron Pills, which irritate my stomach. I try to eat lots of greens and red meats when I feel tired or dizzy. It seems to help short term. I believe it is still best to know and check iron level. Good luck I do, still, feel cold, dizzy, and tired frequently. I am not convinced that it is the Iron Deficiency. Mine is around 10.5 normally now. I think it has to be something else. I have had several expensive tests, exams, x-rays, MRI, c-scan of everything from my head to my bowels. Nothing has turned up, aside from the anemia, celiac, and IBS. If anyone has an idea, please let me know. Thanks
  6. Wow, this is confusing. I was diagnosed with Celiac a 18 months ago. What is this test? How do you get one? I think that I might be allergic to other things. I have been on the diet for 17 months and I am extremely sensitive. I still have episodes at least 3 times a month. They seem to last for days. I have resorted to eating only veggies, fruits, meat, and potatos. I don't know what else to do. Symptoms are still terrible stomach aches (want to go to hospital most times) and D or Const. I also have lower back pain and numbness in my arms, hands, and feet. My gastro doc says that he doesn't have any other answers or test that he can do. I have positive scopes and last one in Dec 06 was better than the others. He told me on the last visit that there is no need for me to see him anymore. Basically, I have it and the diet isn't totally helping symptoms. I am very careful. Anyone else have similar situation?
