  1. Words cannot express my sadness.  A great woman who will be dearly missed.  She has been such a great support to me over the past 7 years.  I cannot imagine a world without her in it    God bless Clayton and the rest of her family and friends.  Peace and love to you all.  Rest well Neroli, and know we love you
  2. It's totally true!! Now I thought I was having a bad day until I got a voicemail from my girlfriend asking how to get raw eggs out of the carpet... I asked what happened. She went to change her clothes and brush her teeth to take her 3 and 4 year olds to gymnastics. In that 5 minutes, they got a dozen eggs out of the kitchen fridge AND a dozen out of the garage fridge and had an egg fight.. IN HER LIVING ROOM!!! I'm sooooo glad I'm not her right now! Poor thing!!
  3. Loves to you Loey!!!!! Ya... Wish I would have seen that manual... Although the first one was the PERFECT baby and PERFECT toddler and I fooled myself into thinking that it was because I was the PERFECT mother.... The the 2nd one was born and I was knocked off my pedestal REALLLLLY quickly
  4. I think I'll take my chances In 10 years Max, God willing, will graduate from high school and then other than an occasional birthday party, wedding, etc. here and there, there will be NO reason to have to speak with or deal with Jesse. THAT, my friends, will be a big part of that happily ever after!!
  5. Totally plan B. Sounds wonderful!!! My 5 year plan... Max-get him to middle school advancing 1 grade per year, finishing each year at least at grade level. Madeleine-survive puberty. 1 year plan-move in with the Captain. Live happily ever after
  6. My daughter would love it I'm sure! She's 11 and was diagnosed at age 4. If you'd like, PM me.
  7. Nik  I am so sorry to hear of this news. Message me anytime!! Tis still pretty fresh... Love you!!
  8. THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I'm soooooo happy and thankful!!
  9. I MISSSSSSS YOUUUUUU!!!!!! Good news by the way... My schedule isn't changing!! So I can be home with my kiddo's every day after school!!! YAY!!!
  10. Thanks! That's good to know. I know they do have to have so many service hours at the middle school, I'll look into it!
  11. Thank you I work with Max for about 2 hours a day on reading and math. Jesse won't even read with him. Jesse had them all last weekend and they didn't pick up a book once. I can guarantee he watched about 8 hour of TV each day though.
  12. Here's the dilemma: Current schedule is 5 days a week, 630a-230p. I'm home every day after school even when I don't have them overnight. I never go more than 2 days without seeing them and I'm there to work with Max on his reading and other homework-which his dad does not do. They want me to move back to working 3 12's. I have the kids every Monday and Tuesday so I would work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. This would mean I'd NEVER see them Wed/Thurs and then every other Frid-Sun. If I calculate it out over a year, taking into account school breaks and summers, I end up averaging MUCH more hours with them over the year with this schedule, BUT I'd have to go 5 days every other week without seeing them. #1-I'm not sure I can do that. #2-Max NEEDS the consistancy of what he's been getting with his schoolwork. He's struggling enough as it is and if there are 2 days that I'm not there and his dad doesn't do ANYTHING with him, then he suffers... What are your opinions? I've plead my case, I've begged like you wouldn't believe and I've prayed and prayed on it. I have to leave it in God's hands and make the best of whatever I'm given. This is hard
  13. Gofer it! Today is a blah day. Still no word on the schedule change. I'd just like to know and get it over with! Captain goes back to work tomorrow. Yuk. Over it.
  14. Happy New Year!! Vacationed for 9 days!!! Then came back to find out that my lab hired a new tech, and suddenly I'm expected to change my schedule now. Um... Seriously??? I'm praying so hard that my supervisor figures out a way to keep me in this current schedule. As it is, the longest I go without seeing my kids is 2 days. This would mean I'd not see them for 5 days out of 7 every other week. This would be tragic on so many levels. I'm trying not to panic... Trying... My kids are so funny and Maddie has that dry sense of humor that comes out of nowhere sometimes. Her, Captain and I are sitting at the table playing cards last night. A knock at the door and their dad comes in. Looks at Captain, Captain stiffens up, then he walks back to Max's room so Max can show him his newest Lego creation. Maddie looks at Captain and I and says, "Well, THIS is awkward..." I just about died laughing. She's such a nut!
  15. Ah geeze Sorry about the bebehs. And rest that back!!! (I also vote chiro... know some peeps don't like 'em but mine got me walking again after a slipped disk broke me, so I'm partial )
