  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. Starting

Can you give me your opinons about being dairy free initially? I read that I should go dairy free for at least a few weeks as well before I will see real results. I am only 2 days in and craving something sweet, but aside from fruit or peanut butter I feel like there are not many options. So far i have been eating fruits and veggies, plain meats, and peanut butter. Any other ideas???
  3. Shopping List

Wow, thanks everyone! Does anyone know if Bare Minerals makeup is gluten free?
  4. Shopping List

Hi, Newly diagnosed and starting the diet after my bloodwork. I was just hoping that someone could help me get started. I have read a little and know that I should eat fruit, veggies, and protein to start- eliminating dairy for a few weeks. Could anyone share their shopping list with me? This is all a bit overwhelming! Thanks!
  5. Hi all! I just wanted to share a great experience I had dealing with Dad's Gluten Free Pizza Crusts. There was a big mixup with Paypal (my fault) and my order never arrived. When I notified the company and requested to place another order, the owner Tim Kelly offered to send me a new delivery for free because I was a new customer. The pizza crusts arrived overnight and WOW! They are so tasty and I would highly recommend dealing with the company as they are super professional! The crusts are a little pricey, but I live alone and they are so convenient! Here is the link to the company:
  6. Thank you all for commenting. I am considering a few things at this point, but once I see the doctor and explain what is happening I am thinking I will go Gluten free and see where that leads me....Thanks again!
  7. I am turning to you all for any assistance you can offer. I am a 30 year old female who has been diagnosed with IBS (about 1 year ago). My symptoms include excessive bloating, gas...constipation followed by diarrhea, extreme discomfort, etc. The dr. ordered bloodwork initially and all came back negative for celiac. I have completely cut out dairy and am currently on Amitiza for the IBS, but things are bad. I consume about 4-8 Gas-X pills a day because that is the only thing that makes me feel somewhat better. the doctor has beena bit dismissive when I suggested the posibility of Celiac.... Had an endoscopy and they determined that I have a hiatal biopsy was done though... Here are my questions: Do these symptoms sound familiar to anyone? Any suggestions about what to do next? Books, resources, etc??? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am so sick of feeling sick!
