    thats kewl! i do creative writing too. a lot. i mean, i'm gonna have a book published soon!!! what type of martial art do you do? my dad owns his own dojang, we do korean style martial arts. i mainly do tae kwan do, hapkido, and multiple types of weapons. tv shows... lOTS!! monk, psych, stargate sg1 and atlantis, journeyman, eli stone, eureka...

    well.. just like the other person i got rid of dairy and soy too. well, also because i have hallucinations, and the milk mainly triggers my hallucinations, but i find that in other people getting rid of milk can help alot. and it's normal to be deprressed over it. and you're not taking a long time to get over it, my god, i've been diagnosed for several years and i'm STILL getting over it. (it's addicting!). And, yeah, it can be worse, but don't listen to them. it kinda makes you feel bad that it 'could be worse' right? well, yeah, it can but you gotta first deal with your situation and feel sorry for yourself before you can realize that that it could be worse. that its, as long as the feeling sorry for yourself doesn't take years and years you can pity yourself, just not for too long. and sometimes rough times will show who your real supporters and friends are. trust me, i know that VERY much!! it's okay. be strong. it's hard, and you'll make MANY MANY MANY mistakes. you'll accidentally eat gluten, or you might just sort of crave gluten and eat it on purpose, but as long as you TRY your very hardest, you're becomeing a better person. and don't listen when other people say 'if you were trying your very hardest you wouldn't be doing it" because that's not true. this is true - "if you are trying your very hardest, then you will still make mistakes, but over time you will make less mistakes " and 'over time' may be a couple years. trust me! i know!   7. Major Guilt Trip

    hey, it ain't your fault. you should show your little sis that you love her. she'd feel better about it all and maybe take her out somewhere. i know, you might feel mad about doing it cause you're saying 'hey i'm the one sick, and she's the one getting on my nerves about it!' why should i be the one to make her feel better. but if you make her feel better, then you'll feel better yourself. maybe you could get her some gluten free pizza, though it won't taste as good. or you could tell your parents to take her out to pizza, then you wouldn't have to have it sitting in front of your nose, and it wouldn't be in the house. and about the computer, well, you should get computer time, i mean your older. i know how little siblings can be, they think they deserve as much as you, but they don't thats why they're 'little' siblings. let her get her way sometimes, but only when she's being good. and make sure she understands that when you let her get her way that it's a TREAT, not a normal thing. like going out to pizza with her parents could be a once a month treat, and only when she's being good. .::STARGIRL::.

    sometimes oats can have a little wheat, if they're packaged and whatnot. they do stuff like that. since you've just started having celiac, i'd suggest you stick to things without ANYTHING AT ALL. pretty much stick to meat, vegetables, nuts, stuff like that and things like rice cakes and other things that don't have any things you could possibly be allergic to. then, after all the wheat gets out of your system, you should start trying stuff a little bit at a time. maybe oats one week, then something else another week. it works best that way. track your reactions and stuffs and also look into other things you might be allergic too. for example, i'm not only allergic to wheat, i also can't have any milk products. i also tend to stay away from egg and soy, though they don't really have as much of a negative effect on me as milk or wheat. oh yes, i'd contact the companies of the food you eat to make sure they're free of wheat. sometimes there's contamination. you wouldn't believe some of the things that are contaminated!

    i usually have bad headaches and i don't feel good overall in general, and i also get moody. if i eat a lot of either gluten or milk, i sometimes have hallucinations, due to my epilepsy. i know, i feel like a real nimrod cause i have these symptoms, and they're usually horrible, and sometimes i just go ahead and eat stuff. like i said, it's addicting
  10. Hard To Control Addictions

    Thanks for the advice, i think i might have to analyze some aspects of my life. in fact, just after i wrote this, i was reading a book that said something like you don't do anything bad unless there's a payoff. such as if you do drugs there's the payoff of escaping from reality. or if you yell at someone, you get to burn off anger at yourself or perhaps somone else. thanks again.
  11. i have some issues with addictions. i'll stick to the diet for a while, and then randomly i'll eat something i shouldn't when i'm not paying attention. then i realize it's bad and i KEEP eating it because well... it's addicting. like recently i ate a jawbreaker i couldn't have. then, even after i realized it, i kept eating it in secret because it was addicting. not like it tasted good so i kept eating it, it was like a drug or something i just had to eat it. it's hard to stop, it's like you don't feel good unless you have it. but it's not like that before you eat something, its like that after you've eaten it. i can't really explain it. does anyone know what i mean?

    don't feel bad, i felt like that too, i mean, sometimes when my mom gets stressed out about cooking special for me i still feel bad, but in the end your parents don't mind because it's good for you, and makes you better. don't feel guilty, it's not your fault. i don't know what you can buy, since my mom makes foods for me, but if you want, just private message me and i'll ask my mom for some good recipes. corn meal and sorghum flour are real good substitutes for flour when cooking! i probably didn't help much, but i'm always here to talk to! .::STARGIRL::.

  14. hi there. some tips.. chips will be your anchor to sanity. try making stuff with corn meal as a wheat replacement. stuff form ener-g is good. and by the way most sodas have wheat or milk. and with people, if you're at a birthday party where people don't know about your allergies, just take a slice of cake on your plate and talk so much to people you don't have to eat it. then throw it away or offer it to someone else. always eat before you leave to go somewhere! make sure who ever you tell about your allergies will be okay with it and not make fun of you. remember, what ever you do, you'll never get used to it but you'll learn to live with it. .;:STARGIRL::.
