    Did they stay the same size?? The mix I had didn't suggest baking soda? I will have try again Thank you!
  3. Hi there, I need some advice...over the Thanksgiving holiday I attempted to make two bread roll mixes. The Chebe bread mix and Pamelas amazing bread mix. They both were "edible" but ugly and there were ISSUES! 1st I followed all of the directions to a T...and I mean everything for Pamela's including the yeast packet with WARM water etc.....they dough was sooooo stickey and wrapped around my hand mixer..once I scraped off what I could and set in a cupcake tin to rise for 1 hour....yeah...THEY NEVER ROSE.... so I thought maybe while baking...?? NO....still looked like they did when I dropped them in the sheet when they were done. 2nd The Chebe mix......they failed to mention that you need to roll the balls of dough to the size to want the rolls and I ended up with wedding cookies size rolls that were rock hard on the outside and not cooked all the way on the inside...??? ANY SUGGESTIONS?????

    I will have to try the Portebello, sounds good....I did the lettuce and Turkey Burger last night and all though messy, it was good! If I don't have fiber from a bar or cereal in the morning, my stomach literally does not work the entire day, I get bloated etc and every morning I drink a WF/gluten-free Fiber powder. I am going to accupuncture for my digestive system but we'll see. By the way, I eat corn tortillas with my hot dogs, but you can look at gluten free mall site. Thank you!

  7. Hi all, I am having a bit of an issue with the new diet I have to be on. I have gained several inches and have had to substitute my 11 grams of fiber and 10 carb cereal for 2 grams of fiber and 20-40 carb cereal now that I cannot eat wheat and gluten. Can anyone suggest some healthy alternatives to hot dog/hamburger buns or bread and cereal in general that is low fat and carb? Thank you!

HI I was not officially diagnosed with Celiac and my blood tests came back negative for a Wheat allergy, however in the last 4 days I have been eating gluten/wheat free and can't believe how different I feel! I can actually concentrate on things now and although my stomach is still adjusting and will take a while to "heal", I am hoping this is the answer to my issues! I am also doing acupuncture for stomach problems and she recommended I be wheat/gluten free as well. Anywho, the reason I am writing it to find out if any of you have any suggestions on breads...I have seen the above posts and cant tell if they have wheat from the website...Also on eating out etc....I have been doing a lot of research but the more advice the better. I LOVE LOVE vietnamese food and their soups are made with rice noodles BUT I have been reading that even chicken broth has wheat, yeast etc...and add a language barrier on top of that, I don't know what to do..?? Can anyone help?? THANK U!!
