  1. He has seen all three of us sick, very sick. I know it is not easy for him living without regular food. I just want to make sure that our guest will not feel cheated by not having a traditional cake. I appreciate your comments.
  2. Yes, he is one of the them, myself and his brother. My husband says that everyone will want the regular cake and frosting.
  3. My son is graduating from high school in a few months. We will be throwing a large open house. I am not sure what I should serve. Should I serve regular cake for our guest and serve a separate gluten free cake. There will be 3 celiac in attendance for the party. Should I serve all gluten free food? Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks!
  4. Pretzel Salad is a layered salad. 1st layer is a mixture of pretzels, butter and sugar. 2nd layer is a cream cheese layer and the 3rd layer is a jello/strawberry layer. One of our Christmas favorites at Christmas time.

  6. We will host Christmas Dinner at our house this year, 3 celiac + 3 non-celiac. Standing Rib Roast Smashed Red Potatoes Swiss Green Bean Cass. Pretzel Salad Corn Cass. Chocolate Cream Pie Sugar Cookies Macroons Fudge Everything will be gluten free. I have been testing recipes for the past couple of months. Merry Christmas to All!
  7. I am headed to Chicago this weekend with my family (3 celiacs). Any suggestions for restaurants for downtown Chicago. We have eaten at Wildfire. Looking for something different. Thanks
  8. Thanksgiving Disaster!! My two sons and I was diagnosed in July of this year with Celiac. For the past two months I have been trying new gluten free recipes for our Thanksgiving Meal. Everything turned out delicious. After the meal I placed all the leftovers on the kitchen island and some how I knocked over an empty wine glass which exploded tiny pieces of glass all over my wonderful leftovers. Everything had to be tossed into the trash. Verna
