  1. Hi, My DH started last year. I was on a light air craft that hit a storm and just fell out of the sky. WE all thought we were dead! The day after my rash started, spots on both legs and blisters on my toes. I think it definately was a stress reaction.
  2. Hi, Does anyone know if hot weather makes DH worse? My DH started when i was in the caribbean five months ago and im off to Egypt in a couple of weeks. Worried about a big outbreak again!!
  3. Cant believe what im reading!! 10 years ago after the birth of my baby, i had all these symptoms, brain fog, burning legs, twitching muscles all over my body, numbness and when i lay in bed a feeling that i was shaking all over internally. I still have a lot of these symptoms. Back then they said it was anxiety then they said it was chronic fatigue. It wasn't until this summer when i got the DH rash that gluten was finally mentioned. Thank god for this forum, reading about all these neurological symptoms, everything is starting to fit into place.
  4. Just wondered if my symptoms are like anyone elses. For 5 years i have had itchy skin and digestive problems. For the last 18 months i've had what i thought was ibs. This summer i started with a horrible itchy rash that was symmetrical on my upper arms, elbows, hands, shins and ankles. Some were itchy bumps, others were blisters on my fingers and toes that i scratched till they turned into blood blisters and i had to burst them. I had positive ANA and my dermatologist was convinced straight away i had DH. He took a biopsy from my back where there were no spots and told me it was negative and discharged me. I had gluten this weekend and spots have reappeared on my arms, buttocks and now my back, quite mild at the moment but itchy. Does this sound like DH to anyone? Any help appreciated. Ps my dad was never investigated but he was an itchy person with a few spots and he died of stomach cancer.
