  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. We LOVE it! My daughter likes it better that Kraft. I dissolve the cheese in milk and add about 2 tbs of butter to make it creamier. I hope you like it.
  3. For me it started in the hospital right after delivery. I had D terrible and it never stopped. I was diagnosed one week after my 6 week check. I didn't own a scale at home so after my six week check I knew what I weighed. I was still sick and my ob wasn't concerned she told me to take anti direals. I saw my family Dr a week later and had lost 10 pounds in one week. That is when I knew something was really wrong. She knew right away what it was. Which is amazing after reading many stories on this form. I had never even heard of Celiac Disease. I had a positive blood test, saw a GI and had a diagnosis.
  4. Your story sounds very similar to ours. I am the one with celiac and I had all three of my children tested this past spring. My 8 year old was positive. She had no symptoms that I saw, I actually wanted my oldest tested and decided to test all three for a baseline. She is doing great on the diet. It helps that we have all our family meals gluten free anyway. I noticed she put on weight right away. She was thin but normal for her hight and age. She says she feels much better and said after we found out she had celiac that her tummy hurt a lot at night, but she didnt want to wake us. I am so thankful I had them tested and that I am no longer hurting my baby! Good luck! Wendy
  5. Hollywood Studios - Old Mgm

Thank you all so much! We are very excited to try the pizza! Thank you for all the great suggestions. w
  6. Hi, We are in Florida and planning to go to Hollywood Studios on Wednesday. Anyone been there recently? Could you please recommend eating options. thanks a bunch!
  7. Clubbed Fingers

My husband has Chron's disease and he has clubbed fingers. I was at his fist GI apt with him many years ago and his Dr. made a note of it. Said it common in Chron's Disease.
  8. I believe its the amount of hair. I have noticed my hair I have is much stronger and healthier. It is just so sparse..Very depressing. I also think the hair is getting larger toward the shaft. If I pull a strand that has come out during normal daily getting ready. It feels bigger toward the end that has the bulb on it...I am hoping this is a good sign. What is Silicea, how do you use it?
  9. When I started this journey I had a ferritn of 2 and hemoglobin of 8. It it almost one year later. My ferritin is in the 90's and my hemoglobin is 13.5. I am feeling great. I am still holding out some hope that my thin hair will get better.... I am hoping someone will have some encouragement for me. Will it ever get better or is it the female pattern hair loss???? I was clinging to the hope that is was the low iron. Could it just take more than a year? Any thoughts? Wendy
  10. Hi, I am A negative but my daughter who also has Celiac is O positive. Wendy
  11. Hi, I eat a Pei Wei at least once a week and I LOVE it. I also get the edamame when the manager has time to make it gluten free. If you order it regular they drop in in the same water as the noodles.... I have not had any problems and I always get the spicy chicken with brown rice. I eat at the Woodbury MN location and have never had any trouble with ordering without a manager. If the food comes to the table and the person does not say gluten free spicy chicken I ask. One time they had made a mistake, they also have gluten free soy sauce. happy eating!!!!
  12. My oldest of three had bad tummy aches, I wanted to get her tested, since I have celiac. My Dr said why don't you test them all for a baseline. I did and my other daughter came back positive and she had no symptoms. Of my three only one has tested positive, I will keep watch on the other two. good luck
  13. Hi, usually use Crystal's hot sauce but Franks looks safe too. I am sure you could sub the ranch for blue cheese. The light house brand is gluten-free and I think it adds a great flavor! its really yummy I bring it everywhere. w
  14. Ill chime in too since I did this for 5 years... severe anemia, bone loss, hair falling out from malabsorption weakness, exhaustion, no energy to keep up with my children I am feeling much better and we found out this summer my 8 year old also has Celiac so now we are both living better healthier lives! w
  15. We play once a month and sometimes its called Drunko...thats another story. How about Buffalo dip 1 8oz cream cheese 1/2 C buffalo sauce 1/2 C Blue cheese dressing ( I use Lighthouse brand light blue cheese) its refrigerated 2 Chicken breast cut up 3 stalks celery mix all and bake 375 till hot and bubbly, it firms up as it cools serve with Frito's, taco dip is good stuffed potato bites gluten free crackers with cheese or salsa rotel cheese dip and corn chips Have fun! wendy
