  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. This sounds exactly like the symptoms I get. I have been itchy since Easter Sunday - but it comes and goes in various degrees. After about a week I had a rash on the inside of my thighs - otherwise it just feels like hives under the skin with no outside visible marks. I am taking a combination of Allegra and Zantac to try and get rid of the itchy. At first I thought it was working, but now it is worse again. I don't know at this point if it is food, makeup, or other personal items. Any suggestions for relief would be greatly appreciated.
  3. I just checked with my hair stylist, and she uses Logics, and it isn't gluten-free. If anyone else knows of anything please let me know! Thanks.
  4. Thanks. I'll pass that information on to my hair stylist. My Wild Word from Wild Women calendar says: "The heck with the natural look. Where would Marilyn Monroe be if she'd clung to the hair color God gave her? We'd have a movie called "Gentlemen Prefer Mousy Brown Hair."
  5. Beginning in March I started experiencing the total body itchyness. I am gluten-free now both for foods and skin products. My only problem now is everytime I get my hair colored I have a week of itchyness. Does anyone know of a hair coloring product [either used in a salon or over the counter] that is gluten-free? My hairdresser has asked her sales representative, but has found nothing. She is wonderful because her Grandmother is also a celiac so she understands the problem, but we can't find anything that works.
  6. I do have celiac disease, but I have never had sores, and the posting relating to DH don't seem to apply to me. Benadryl does help some, but I can only take it at night because it knocks me out and sleeping on the job is NOT a good thing.
  7. Help. I am itchy, itchy, itchy. EVERYWHERE! However, I do not have any outward signs of hives or sores. It feels like it is coming from inside my body. I don't know if it is food or topical things like shampoo, hair coloring, soap, or other things that may not be gluten-free. 1. Does anyone else suffer from this symptom? 2. Is there any relief for the symptoms? 3. Is there a guide to the chemicals in shampoos, soaps, etc that can tell me so I can know their origin grains?
