SJP replied to cruelshoes's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & MedicationsI use O'Keeffe's Working Hands, which is scentless and non-greasy as well as being gluten-free. It's great stuff - doesn't wash off as easily as most lotions - and is intended specifically for hands that crack and split, according to the package. Mine don't, but it's the best hand cream I've ever found, and members of my family who aren't celiacs agree. You can sometimes find it in hardware stores (I'm told most Ace hardware stores seem to have it), though if you live as far from civilization as I do, you'll have to buy it online.
SJP replied to oneriver's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & MedicationsI've found it easiest to use the internet. Searching for lists of products - e.g., gluten-free shampoo - sometimes works. What I normally do is a search for a specific brand name plus the term "gluten-free" - for example: Garnier gluten-free - since if the manufacturer doesn't tell you on their web site which of their products are gluten-free (and I try to buy from companies that do this), chances are someone has already asked and posted the answer.
