  1. I am a month pregnant and last week I had to take Imodium because I accidently ate gluten. Does anyone know if it is safe to take Imodium while you are pregnant? I really can not live with out my Imodium for 9 months. I try my best not to eat gluten but when I do Imodium is my savior. Also does anyone know if it is safe to take Fiberchoice while pregnant? I get constipated a lot and I hear it only gets worse while you are pregnant.
  2. I had some of the rice dreams vanilla ice cream over the week-end with chocolate syrup on it. I rice dreams vanilla ice cream was on my gluten-free food list and I did not have any problems after eating it. It tasted okay, kind of a funny after taste.

  4. I think I have problems digesting fruit and possibly vegetables. I usually eat a banana every morning with my breakfast but then I get gas and sometimes I become bloated all morning long. I thought this would go away after I stopped eating gluten in the morning but it has been 3 months. I love to eat all day long and sometimes have fruit for a snack but it seems like I can not eat fruit on an empty stomach. I have stopped eating things like grapes, oranges, and strawberries because I can not seem to handle them at all. When I spoke to the nutritionist she said that I was just eating too much fruit and veggies in one day. How can that be when most days I only eat 1 banana. The nutritionist I believe told me that there was some sort of pill you can take to help you digest fruit but I do not remember the name. Does anyone know what I am taking about? Since it seems I can not eat fruit for snacks does anyone have any good suggestions on snack foods (I have not have diary either)?
  5. I have problems when I eat corn tortilla chips (I have really bad gasy and bloating) and maybe when I eat corn tortilla shells (not sure about that one). However, I do not seem to have problems when I eat popcorn in moderation or just plain corn. I wonder if it matters whether you eat white corn as opposed to yellow corn?? Sorry I do not have any answers, I am in the same boat as you and not sure what to do about it.
  6. Lunch With Co-wokers

I would like to thank you for your rely. I went to the Annie's website, but I did not see the small packets of salad dressing. I only saw that you have to order 6 bottles at a time! Where do you purchase these small packets? I would love to carry them in my purse instead of a bottle (I would have to start carrying a larger purse).
  7. Hi, my name is Molly and I have been on a gluten free diet for only 2 months now. My problem is with my co-workers and going out to lunch everyday. Everyday my co-workers beg for me to go to lunch with them. I try to explain to them that I would rather eat in and eat food that I know if safe for me than chance getting sick. But they never understand. They are always upset that I do not want to go with them. How do I make them understand? I have told them that I am willing to go out with them once a week but that does not seem to be enough for them. I do not want to lose them as friends. Does anyone know what is safe to eat at Quizno's? They seem to always want to go there. I know I probably could have a salad but what about the dressings? Is there a salad dressing that is usually safe when you to restaurants? I know when I got salad dressing at Subway it said that it contained modified food starch and I was told to avoid that.
