  1. Dominos Gluten Free Pizza

    Chebe pizza crust, best I have had yet (I have other intolerance, so this crust has nothing in it that hurts me and its good!) Plus if you go to their website, they have even more recipes with their mixes and they are cheap! Well, compared to any other gluten-free crust cost I have seen. 
  2. Corn & Rice - Colitis flares up, horrible intestinal pain, esp. in the morning. back and front Cow's milk products - Horrible stomach pain, D, cramping, sick to my stomach Large quantities of non-organic tomato (like a sauce or chili, etc) - Colitis flare up horrible intestinal pain, esp. in the morning. back and front (Oddly organic is fine, not an issue with organic) Oats (gluten-free obviously) - Hives (Joy of itchy skin and welts)

Just my humble opinion and I hope maybe this might resonate with you Deekle...   Many doctors (traditional doctors) if they can't give you a prescription drug to fix your symptoms, its like they stumble around lost muttering IBS....(Yup I can give you a pill for that, that works, ok you have IBS)   When looking at Celiac Disease we know that there isn't any medication, so it's like they struggle with the idea of a person having to change their diet, vs taking a pill. I think it's a matter of education, but also a matter of perception that we have in this world (generally speaking) that if you can't fix it will a pill, you can't fix it. Which is obviously not the case. So please, don't be that doctor   And thank you for your service.
  4. Could be rice intolorance. I have just discovered that I am rice intolerant...ugh. Looks like grain free/paleo for life. Hey, at least I can eat french fries.
  5. I feed my cats Wellness.   Best website for cat owners: (has some food options and alot of other really good information - healed my cats diabetes from the information on this site. She was 2 years old and very ill, started feeding her wellness and in about 3 weeks she was back to being herself) Ironically she was grain free before I was LOL.

      I keep seeing this when I log on to this site, then whenever someone raises their eyebrows at me for asking if something is gluten-free I hear it in my mind...:D

    The corn pain! I love it w8in4dave! It's so true thought. Hurts like the devil. It's so hard to be corn intolerant.
  8. I've never seen (at least recently, since they have declared "gluten free") a non-gluten free box of fruity pebbles?? That would be concerning for consumers. That’s like Chex making a non-gluten free rice Chex version. I don't see that happening....   I would vote the coloring as well. But then it could be dairy if you’re drinking regular cow’s milk too. You could always try them plain/dry and see what happens.   Personally I don't eat them myself; too much sugar and I think there are too many "fake" ingredients for my liking.
  9.   I didn't know there was a gene either but this guy is saying there is.   Gluten Sensitivity Gene Test HLA-DQB1 Molecular analysis, Allele 1 0301 HLA-DQB1 Molecular analysis, Allele 2 0602 Serologic equivalent: HLA-DQ 3,1 (Subtype 7,6) TEST INTERPRETATION(S): Interpretation of HLA-DQ Testing: Although you do not possess the HLA-DQB1 genes predisposing to celiac disease (HLA-DQ2 or HLA-DQ8), HLA gene analysis reveals that you have two copies of a gene that predisposes to non-celiac gluten sensitivity, in your case HLA-DQB1*0301 and HLA-DQB1*0602. Having two copies of a gluten sensitive gene means that each of your parents and all of your children (if you have them) will possess at least one copy of the gene. Two copies also means there is an even stronger predisposition to gluten sensitivity than having one gene, and the resultant immunologic gluten sensitivity may be more severe. This test was developed and its performance characteristics determined by the American Red Cross - Northeast Division. It has not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
  10. For anyone out there, who has experienced this…I have a random question that I have searched for and can’t seem to find the answer too. I know with Celiac disease there are folks that are silent Celiac’s.   Are there silent non-celiac gluten intolerant/sensitive folks? There is a reason I am asking.   In theory, let’s say someone has traditional celiac symptoms, and is diagnosed celiac via blood, but not villi (no villi damage) and the blood is only IGG higher none others, so….they go gluten free, but their symptoms continue even after years of gluten free, they remove other intolerant foods (corn and dairy) and then dying gall bladder and then finally they feel great.   Then, out of curiosity, they do the celiac gene test, and they don’t have either gene, but the doc interpreting the results says they have both genes for NCGI/NCGS. But then the person accidentally eats gluten and nothing happens, no symptoms nada…..they feel great.   How does that happen?  What does it mean? Has anyone had a similar experience? Theories, ideas?   Thanks guys, just need to bounce this off ya'll.

  12. Amount Of Gluten In Single, Small Bread Crumb?

    Enterolab is much cheaper for the gene test. I think it was $178 I paid for the test and the shipping total. Still though it's a great piece of mind to have if there is doubt. I would recommend to anyone who had doubts or wants confirmation (besides diet confirmation)

     Lucky duck! LOL I can't handle anything with corn except a medication (pill size) with corn as a binder, otherwise, the pain cometh.   I hope you figure it out
  14. I have. I would google it, but I could swear there were studies done on gluten and dairy withdraw. Both act like opioids in the brain. I did find articles online, so check it out.
  15. I know your saying iron is ok, but it does sound like iron....I have low iron, need infusions every couple months and I get bruising out of no where, but not that severe.
