this might sound kind of dumb but it is easy to do and I didn't think so little would hurt me... I am Gluten free since Feb-04...I can't handle many of the breads but I have always liked corn pancakes so the gluten-free pancakes are a staple in my house. My wife and son have no problems with gluten and I don't punish them and make them go gluten-free with me although they actually do like the pancakes. Well, while buttering my cakes one day, I must have taken some toast crumbs on the end of the stick with my pancakes...big mistake! I was running every 30 min. for a day and a half and felt sicker than dog! Lesson learned...have 2 sticks of butter (peanut butter and jelly too)...a gluten-free stick for myself and let the rest of the family have their own. Take care.
