  1. I have been gluten free for 4 years now and I am now noticing severe reactions to dairy. :-(
  2. I am still suffering with this problem. I am now noticing I bloat up and look 4-5 months pregnant after eating sour cream. I have tried an enema and I have been taking stool softeners and a natural garlic candida cleanse. Today I drank magnesium citrate and it has been 6 hours and still nothing. I do not have insurance so I can't exactly just go to the doctor and I am very very low income.
  3. It has been a long time since I have visited this forum. I have been gluten free for about 4 years now. I went to the hospital on Thursday because I was having major stomach problems. They gave me all kinds of medications for my stomach and pain. They even gave me morphine, not even that helped me. They x-rayed me and found that I had a ton of feces inside. I was told that that doesn't normally show up in an x-ray so it means I have a lot. They gave me this drink to get me going. I was prescribed Bentyl and stool softeners. My system is still not working properly even with these medications. I have not eaten any gluten whatsoever. I cook my own food and never go out to eat. I am very tempted to ingest some gluten thinking it may help me get things moving. I am really afraid of developing Septicemia since nothing is working for me. I may have to go back to hospital if nothing changes by end of the week. They only gave me a 7 day supply of medication.
  4. I want to open a gluten free bakery. I was wondering if anyone here has opened a store and gotten some government grants or any other help? I just need some direction on where to start. Thanks.
  5. I don't have a mix, but I have some flours already premixed that I did myself. It has brown rice flour, tapioca flour, potato starch, and corn flour.
  6. I want to make a gluten free version of this for my son's party. Parmesan Puffs with Marinara 1/2 cup milk 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1/2 cup Gold Medal
  7. Buddy's Pizza in Sterling Heights on Van Dyke carries it. I had some for V-Day. I got a flyer from them and it appears all of them carry it.
  8. Gluten Free Kreplach 1/2 cup brown rice flour 1/2 cup tapioca flour 1/2 cup cornstarch 1/4 cup potato starch 5 tsp. xanthan gum 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. salt 3 Tbl. Oil Filling: 1 cup ground cooked beef or chicken 1 small onion grated 1 tsp. salt 1. Combine flours, xanthan gum, and salt. Add eggs and oil. 2. In a seperate bowl mix filling ingredients. 3. Roll out dough as thin as possible without tearing. Then cut into 3 inch squares. 4. Place a teaspoon of filling in the middle of dough. Fold dough diagonally and seal with some water on your fingers. 5. Place kreplach in boiling salted water. Cook until kreplach floats to the top. 6. Preheat oil over medium heat. Saute until golden brown on both sides.
  9. I would bring a dish to share in addition to eating beforehand. Latkes are easy to make gluten free. Just switch out the wheat flour for rice flour in any recipe. You could bring Israeli salad if your going to any more Hanukkah dinners.
  10. If you lose your job over going to the bathroom, you should consider filing for social security disability. Interstitial Cystitis is on the list for being disabling because of the excessive use of the bathroom and lack of sleep from using the restoom at night. I am sure late stage Celiac Disease would also qualify you for the same reasons. Or you should also consider finding a at home job where you won't have someone looking over your shoulder for using the bathroom so much.
  11. I would think taking some vitamin supplements and probiotics would be good for you. You should try Kefir.
  12. I use Hormel Chilli with beans and I have also used the Cook Yourself Thin recipe for chilli.
  13. If the child is really young and having symptoms, the doctor can do a gene test to diagnose Celiac.
