  1. Just an FYI- Unless it says "Dedicated gluten-free facility" or you call on everything, the "made on/in/shred equipment" is all voluntary labeling. So just because it doesn't say "made on" doesn't mean it isn't. They will most likely say "we use industry standards for cleaning equipment between batches" in many cases.
  2. Thank you so much for all you have contributed and all the people you have helped. Know you are in my thoughts!
  3. EO's are not going to do ANYTHING for an allergic reaction. To suggest so is dangerous.
  4. You can typically get things you need through that are prepackaged if you let TSA know. Also, I would be interested in what the laws say. I know the EU is far ahead with much of that stuff but I think you would be hard pressed to file and win.
  5. So the blood test and endoscopy were both positive? He's still very newly diagnosed so it may be a while. With the sudden onset of symptoms, did they look for outer GI causes? Just wondering if there isn't some kind of strange bug. I would try and get a GOOD probiotic into him too. Even after 6 months gluten-free, my DS wasn't really well till...
  6. Is this vomiting a new thing? How long ago was he diagnosed? Vomiting after every meal is NOT normal and you need to call your Dr. asap. Kids can dehydrate very quickly!
  7. From the LOOK of them, I think that the cookies, soft cereal like bars and granola is repackaged Enjoy Life but I do not KNOW that. I haven't opened them yet but they sure do look like it based on the ingredients.
  8. I have never found any information on hair testing being accurate for allergies. Ever. Believe me, if it were accurate, every allergist would use (and we're had 5 and NONE of them use it). *IF* (and that's a big if) there were any accuracy to it, it still wouldn't be for allergies bt intolerances. All this said, even the "tried and true" allergy testing...
  9. There was a female Dr. I saw speak last year at a Celiac conference. She was kind of like the House of Celiac. I will look in the morning to see if I can find her name. Edit: Duh. I was so excited to see that I might be able to help I didn't read the past part. If you aren't willing to challenge I would try and find the funds to go see her. She's really...
  10. The benefits of breastfeeding far outweigh that of formula ESP. with food allergies! It may not be easy restricting your diet *if* your new baby has an issue but it is totally doable because of the positives! I had a long list oh no-no's while nursing my son but only dairy and egg for my second. Good luck to you!
