Earlier this week, I had tons of neruo issues. Got tons of blood work with a Celiac dietitian. I learned I was not absorbing any minerals/calcium/Magnesium/B6/or Vitamin D. Once I got on doses of these, the neurological symptoms are going away. Just something to look into
...and I have an aunt with MS- which I believe is due to undiagnosed Celiac- since she's my Dad's sister (my dad also has Celiac). Hope you get to feeling better. I'd look into vitamin and mineral deficiencies. These have caused me so many issues that I'm thankful to be resolving.
My Celiac dietician has me eating some of the following:
never the same foods 2 days in row
yams (not the skin- fiber hard to digest)
boars head chicken from deli
tuna (plain, nothing but salt added to it)
air popped pop corn- no butter
I has similar experiences. Finally found out that it was all food intolerances, egg yolks, soy, dairy, and oils. I kept a detailed food journal to nail them down. Hope you find what's hurting you, I know how hard it is.
I'm a Celiac and I'm currently soy, gluten, dairy, egg, oil, and egg free...and looking for a probiotic- lol. =) Anyone, with these issues, have one that you would suggest? Thanks so much! I really appreciate it!
I'm a newbie as well...and my last symptoms have only started to get better after cutting out soy, legumes, and beans. Bummer- but hey- feeling amazing will be worth it. That's what I keep telling myself. =) I think we'll, hopefully, be able to add it back in a year or so from now...
I have lost 7 pounds since going gluten free in 3 months. So if you are overweight- you're body will love being gluten free and will work for you, not against you. But yes, VERY important to get on all the right supplements. Hang in there, I know it's overwhelming!
