  1. Hello, ive been looking for a support groups. I live in lodi Ca. Im even having trouble finding a doctor over here. If you have found something could you let me know please. We could even start something thanks
  2. IM SOOOO EXCITED.. I WISH OTHER COMPANIES WOULD BE JUST LIKE BETTY CROCKER.. THEY GET 10 STARS YAY THIS JUST MADE MY DAY THANKS
  3. IS VERY THANKFUL FOR THIS WEB SITE

  4. DH ON THE HEAD LOOK JUST LIKE THE SORE ON THE OTHER PARTS WHERE YOU GET IT. EXPECT THAT IT HURTS ALOT TO WASH AND BRUSH YOUR HEAD. JUST BE CAREFUL AND IT GOES AWAY BUT YOU HAVE TO LIVE A VERY STRICT gluten-free LIFE. EAT gluten-free AND ALL YOUR HYGINE PRODUCTS NEED TO BE gluten-free.... NO EXCEPTIONS!!! IT IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT TO KEEP YOUR SCALP CLEAN I THINK THATS JUST MY OPINION.
  5. Ok, here the deal i've been diagnosed with DH and the Doctor just put me on Dapsone and never told me how bad it was. since i have been on this site i have learned alot. ( thank god for this site) so now i've been taking this medication for 7 months and blood test for the last 2 months have had some showing of low blood suger last month and now this month protien in urine i asked the Doctor and the answer is wait to see what next months will say. I was on last night and seen Dapsone is very bad for you and your kidneys & liver could fail. I take 100mg a day. Really want to know if there are other ways to help your skin and if its already too late for me?
  6. Yes that is all my GI Dr. told me to do too. i couldnt believe that the dr. just told me that . my husband and i were in shock and at that time realized anybody can be a dr. but seriously thanks to this website i have learned so much and that is my best advise to you is to keep yourself plugged in to this site as much as possible...
  7. Hello, Im writing this because im very very confused. i have no primary Dr. because the two i did have knew nothing about my disease. they told me to find my own Dr. myself. Im currnetly diagnosed with DH and every book or online thing i read it said if you have DH than you are celiac positive. But again because im working with DR.s that have no idea about my disease they made me go gluten free for 2 months than made me go back on a gluten diet. They had me eat gluten for 2 weeks than did an endoscopy and colonascopy. They found nothing so i came home to research myself and found that if you were to do a test like that you are do eat 4-5 pieces of bread a day so again why did my DR. do this test it was done for nothing i feel. Im really confused. i Live in northen CA. i need a Dr. who can understand me. i have been trying to learn on my own how to live this strict gluten-free life.It will BE helpful if anyone could help me im not alot of pain my limbs go numb alot i cant sleep anymore. thanks amber
  8. hello, i have DH and i was put on dapsone at first 50mg. and than i went up untill i stopped haveing any break outs. im curently at 100mg. a day. i really dont no why the doctor did it that way but i do know that if you are taking dapsone you have to be watch by your doctor that gives it to you and also they need to have your blood tests every month. i hope this was helpful.
