  2. I have been following the SCD for ten years and probably will follow it for life. I have been able to add a few things after all this time but don't do it often. Please be aware the blog you mention is written by people who have not been on the SCD diet for a long time and all the information may not be applicable to a strict version of SCD. The gentlemen have written a book which claims to tell you what Elaine Gottschall left out. Elaine researched the SCD for nearly four decades and it is presumptuous to assume one knows what she left out. The authors certainly seem very enthused and sincere and deserve praise for their extensive and interesting articles. If you want to verify authenticity on SCD foods supplements and instructions, refer to: www, Some of the SCDLifestyle information has been gleaned from these two websites above in addition to the book on SCD, "Breaking the Vicious Cycle." Use extreme caution with store bought foods and know you are using them at your own risk even if the ingredients have been verified.
