    1. tweeks2010 added a post in a topic Yellow Stool...after Going Gluten Free?

Tried dairy free, tried soy free...doesn't make a bit of difference....I am even yeast free. I have not seen a gasterointesterologist(spellin?)...none of the doctors have sent a referral to one yet. I am starting to get extremely frustrated with the doctors here, so much that if they end up finding something bad that I can't recover from...I will sue them. my medical file is huge and in the last 2-3 years I have been in there about 80 times...enough for them to figure it out. For example....I wanted to be tested for Candida(bacterial over growth) and the doctor told me it's impossible to test for and the people who get it are only people with hiv. That's a was of bs. I have read many of times on here how people have been tested and treated for it. Also that it comes hand in hand with intestinal parisites...(may have those). I have read tons about celiac and malabsorbtion of all kinds...I just wanted to know if anyone else had the same thing.

      Thank you though.

      Yellow Stool...after Going Gluten Free?
Just wondering is anybody has had yellow stool before and after going gluten free.

I have had yellow stool, soft, foul smelling sometimes since May 2010...I went gluten free as soon as I found out that it could be celiac disease (May) also varies between that and once a week for about 2 days I will get constipated....when I can finally go to the will be dark, pebble like and white mucus will come out with/after it.

Not to mention when the stool is yellow...I have midly undigested food in it...for instance..bean sprouts...i can't digest those for some reason. Like I said above...I have had this since May of this 6 months now. I have also lost 28lbs since then as well. I am not worries about cross contamination as I am extremely careful with my food. And I am aware of malabsorbtion...could it be that? Or could it be another problem.

If anyone has this...please give me some info or details on your symptoms...the doctors here really I have been needing to do alot of my own research before I go in there.

Some infor would help...anything would....maybe even things to try to make it stop.

*Fibre supplements dont help...I just make more yellow poop.

    4. tweeks2010 added a post in a topic Terrible Stomach Pain

Just for info. Flax seeds can be manufactured/packaged in a facility with wheat products in it. Most of the flax seed packaged that you can by where i am say on the back..."Processed in a facility with wheat" or something rather. Also if you are buying these products in bulk (nuts/flax,ect), pay attention to what is in the other bulk bins beside them. It is very possible that whomever put them in the bulk bins didn't change gloves or tools(utensils) while doing most of that could be and are mosre likely to be contaminated. This could very well be where you are getting the stomch cramps and pain from. I know it doesn't take much at all for me to react.

If you are unsure of the product being the company...they will tell you how it was processed....if it is processed around wheat/gluten containing items...they'll tell you if it is 100% gluten free or not. What I learnt so far...."better safe then sorry"

    6. tweeks2010 added a post in a topic What's The Science Behind Celiac Soy Intolerance?

Today I tested myself with the ingredient soy lecithin i about 5 different things I ate today. Guess what...I get the same symptoms with that as I do when I get glutened. I only did a somewhat small amount , but it was enough to give me stomach cramping that has so far lasted hours and is still going.

    7. tweeks2010 added a post in a topic How To Tell My Boss I Can't Work In The Bakery...

Just so people are aware of this...alot of deli meats do either contain gluten or are processed by/beside or in a no gluten free facility. Even hamburger or hamburger patties can have gluten in them. In the deli I work in there are only 3 kinds of gluten free meets..but I can't eat them because they are beside all of the other meats. Unless you go to a natural deli/butcher shop...or buy pre-packaged meats that says gluten free. I know Grimms meats are mostly gluten free...but like i said the would have to be prepackaged or seperated from the other meats at the deli. It's probably different in a big city though. I have a pop. of 3500 we don't have a massive deli. Lol.

    9. tweeks2010 added a post in a topic I Can't Figure Out What I Am Getting Into

I do find that too much of the ingredient soy or soy lechithin can make me start to feel a bit ill again. That could be just it...also I would stick to drinking organic teas ...flavoured teas can have gluten in them as well as flavoured coffees. "Twos leaves and a Bud " tea is great.

Also...if I do deli shifts...will the gluten in some of the meats affect me? It is just slicing the meats...and we make like 8 sandwhiches a day...the rest is veggies/fruits.

    12. tweeks2010 added a post in a topic Gluten/body Aches...

Yea the aches just kinda come and go in waves...all over the body...all day long. I have been doing alot of bakery shifts though. I can ask my boss to not put me in the bakery...i know he will be understanding of that...but I don't have a positive biopsy or blood test...just based on my symptoms and my reaction to going gluten free, the docs says i am celiac. The only way for me to get a positive test is to get sick again...and there is no way in hell will i do that again. I got glutened about a week or so ago...from a little bit off of a water bottle..I was sick for 4 days with stomach cramps. Not fun.

Anyways, they doctor said I had fibro before I had even come to I never thought about the fibro as a seperate thing from celiac...i guess they would come hand in hand though right.

I am in a situation where I am waiting for my mortgage approval...then I can tell the boss now more bakery shifts. It kind of sucks though...I like making the cakes and stuff...and They love me in there too.. I am one of the best workers. I guess it's a small price to pay to be healthy.

    15. tweeks2010 added a post in a topic More Constipated After Going Gluten Free?!

Hi, I also have the same after going gluten free. My absolute best friend is BLUEBERRIES! I love them. They work fast. Eat about 1 cup/day in the morning (or whenever) and do it everyday. 1 serving of blueberries has 8.1 grams fibre in it...with is almost 3 times more fibre thans metamucil pysillium fibre has in it. SERIOUSLY..THESE WORK. I put mine in a smoothie everyday and don't miss a day. When you skip a day or go back to being contipated. The only down side to you bowel movement will be blue...LOL. If you can deal with that..go for the blueberries!

**Metamucil or other fibre supplements can sometimes hold gluten in your system for longer. So if you get gluten the best thing to not take your fibre takes longer to go through your system and thickens while in your stomach/intestines. Best shot at cleaning yourself out after being gluten is blueberries...natural, effective and way quicker.**
