  1. I had itching after being diagnosed, that nothing otc helped. Then I got anxiety and was treated for that with HCL the ingredient in anti-histamines. Antihistamine might have helped the itching but I didn't know then. I made a bath recipe to sooth skin after getting bit up in the garden, that called for pine needles- and a couple flowers of which I only...
  2. I think the mystery has been solved this week in the news: Glyphosate in General Mills Cereal reported by the FDA. It only took 'em a bit less than a decade.
  3. I wrote another post questioning the active ingredient that is one of them- aspergilla niger Latin for black mold. Can't imagine.... would be interested to hear how others like it. As far as kids diet----Rather than focus on what they can't have, maybe their diet could become a learning adventure. I fell in love with an ethnic foodstore right after...
  4. mmm. I didn't mention- last summer drama but your mention of magnesium citrate rang a bell... Then i started cooking---trying to make bread and cake and bought a big bag of Red Mills xantham powder. First serving-- cramps and pain that I hadn't had at all since going on gluten-free diet. Second serving...cramps and pain...Third time with...

I even called GM --wanted to know what was in it--woman spoke to said they don't have to claim any ingredient that is less than 2% and advised me to go to an ER!! So, I just stopped eating and got better...
  7. Always appreciate your newsletters. I just received one however that sparked curiosity concerning a new digestive enzyme named: "Aspergillus Niger". Can someone explain how taking this revolutionary discovery could be "more healthful" for a person than an allergic reaction to gluten? The reason the name caught my attention is due to my new sensitivity...
  8. Chalk me up as another person who has had a reaction to GM gluten-free Chex Cereal. I first tried cinnamon chex, but it seemed to bother my stomach. I thought it was the flavoring bothering me, so I tried the plain gluten-free corn chex and then gluten-free rice chex deciding it must be the corn bothering. This has been during the past 2 months. I developed...
