  1. Thanks for telling me about Nutsonline! I just went to their website and everything looks great. I can't decide what to get, everything looks so delicious!!
  2. I asked a question similar to this awhile back, so I'll tell you what I came up with... For bar soap, the consensus seemed to be Dove Soap. Only one person replied re. a bodywash and she said she'd never had any problem with Caress, so I plan on buying that next trip to the store. If anyone else knows of safe bodywashes I'm sure they'll post as well. For Shampoo/Conditioner I plan on using Aussie b/c I have thick/color-treated hair that needs some strong conditioning. Some say Aussie is not ok, but two people here have very sensitive skin and react to everything but Aussie has never been a problem for them. BUT, if you want to be super safe (and aren't as picky as me ), Dove and Neutrogena are good gluten-free shampoo and conditioner choices. Hope this helps!
  3. Can anyone tell me what brand/s of nuts (Almonds mainly, but any will do) are 100% gluten free? Thanks!!
  4. Wow, you're awesome, thank you so much!
  5. Yes, but they were negative. Also, they didn't do all the recommended tests.
  6. Well, I had my Endo/Col this morning. I have to wait 5-10 business days for biopsy results--AAAHHH! I can't stand the wait! I wondered if anyone could take a look at what the printed report says they found during the procedures: -Mild atrophy in the second part of the duodenum -Erythema and petechiae in the antrum and stomach body compatible with gastritis -Slightly irregular Z line in the gastroesophageal junction -Mild nodularity in terminal ileum, distal -Normal in the whole colon What stands out to me is the first one; Mild atrophy in the second part of the duodenum. I googled this and it says this can be indicative of Celiac Disease. They took several biopsies of the duodenum, but I know it can still be missed, so I'm just wondering if any of these things sound like Celiac to any of you? I have suspected it for a while now and my symptoms include: IBS-diarrhea for many years, bloating, gas, unexplained right abdominal pain for nearly 5 months, low Iron levels, extreme fatigue, and I also have Hashimotos (another autoimmune disease). Thanks guys!!
  7. Thank you all for the tips!! I am not looking forward to parting ways with my Oil of Olay but I know it must be done Luckily, I use Neutrogena on my face already, so I'll take a look at their other products. Thanks again!!
  8. I got so excited when I read that Carnation Instant Breakfast was gluten-free, but after checking on their website it states that the mixes are "Made on equipment that also processes wheat and soy". As for the drinks, they all contain barley So sad...
  9. To all of you ladies here...Just wondering what kind of bar soap and body wash (the kind you would put on a lufa) you use? I have used my beloved Oil of Olay body wash (which I read on here may have gluten in its perfume) for years and I'm going to have to make a switch! I also use Dial soap, but I haven't checked that out yet. What would you recommend?--(for body washes, I need something very moisturizing)
  10. I am trying to determine if I could have Celiac Disease. I have had blood tests done (all were negative) and I may have an endoscopy done next week after my Gastro appt. I have had "IBS" for 8 1/2 years now and it has just gotten progressively worse; constant diarrhea, abdominal pain and cramping, gas, etc. Recently I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis, another type of autoimmune disease. Given the fact that AD sometimes run together, I wonder if my IBS is truly undiagnosed Celiac's?!?! I would give anything to live a normal life again and to be able to leave the house without taking nauseating anti-diarrheals. Before I cut out gluten from my diet (which I won't do b/f my endo) I want to see what symptoms those of you with diagnosed Celiac Disease suffered with b/f going gluten free. Thank you to all willing to share!
