  1. That sounds exactly how I started out! I was suffering chronic sinusitis but the doctors couldn't find a solid cause for it, and none of the medications seemed to help. If I didn't have a sinus infection I would be suffering from allergy-like symptoms. Then somehow I heard about it in connection to celiac. I had already suspected I had IBS (but was too embarrassed to go to the doctor about it - I did once and he just told me to go away and eat some prunes!) but the more I read about the celiac symptoms the more the light bulb went off in my head. So, low & behold I had the blood test and my suspicions were right. Now I've only been a couple of months gluten-free but my sinuses are clearer than ever
  2. When I first suspected gluten intolerance I was very very well behaved & cut it all out right away, which made me feel amazing. But between talking to my doctor about it and having the blood test I went on a massive gluten binge, pigging out on hamburgers and kebabs and just about anything else that comes wrapped in gluteny goodness. Probably just as well - when I got my results, the antibodies were so high (>300) I didn't need a biopsy to confirm!
  3. Orgran make a yummy instant gravy that is gluten, wheat, and animal free and is readily available in supermarkets here in Aus, but I'm not sure if they are sold internationally. You can chack their website here: http://www.orgran.com/home Hope this helps
  4. I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a good potato-based vodka readily available in Australia? I've had a fair bit of trouble finding one that I can be sure of (if only alcohol was subject to the same labelling laws as food!)
