  1. Out of curiosity, I went back to the beginning of the "What are you Cooking for Dinner tonight?" Thread...and found that YOU are the brilliant girl who started this fun thread! Little did you know it would become so popular when you asked such a simple question. Thanks for thinking of it. I think it may be my "favorite" thread of all :) and I have been involved in hundreds o...

  2. Constipation

Probiotics, plenty of liquids, eating greens (like kale), making sure to eat healthy fats, and magnesium supplements like Natural Calm have always helped me.
  3. This has been a very frustrating week. First the Domino's thing, and then the Today Show. It really pisses me off. Celiac Disease is NOT a trend, companies and celebrities going their version of "gluten free" for weight loss is trend. I hated how cavalier she was about it, too.
  4. Domino's "Gluten Free" Crust

Just wanted to add, if you're using a Mac you can take two types of screenshots: Shift-Cmd-3 will take a screenshot of your whole screen and save it to your desktop. Shift-cmd-4 will take a screenshot of an area that you select on your screen, and then save it to your desktop. Since image attachments don't seem to be working correctly on the forums, you can use a hosting service like or to upload them.
  5. Domino's "Gluten Free" Crust They've admitted that it's not safe for Celiacs, and personally I wouldn't suggest that people with wheat allergies or gluten intolerance try it either. Honestly, I feel like they are exploiting the gluten-free diet fad that's getting a lot of publicity right now (Miley, Kim) and possibly trying to tap into the primal/paleo market as well. I guess some people will be happy with the product, but I know I certainly won't be trying it.
  6. May Is Celiac Awareness Month

I've been contacting news stations and papers suggesting it as a feature. Talk to more people about it. Start a blog and share your story with the interwebs. Or just continue to be an awesome support community
  7. I'm not sure if you all know about this (I didn't until Twitter exploded about it a couple weeks ago!) but May is Celiac Awareness Month. We get our own month The NFCA has some more info about it here:
  8. I just finished The Hunger Games trilogy and quite liked it. I'm not sure what I'll pick next!
  9. Just ate some fresh mango. Yup it's a high-sugar fruit. But it's so tasty! haven't had one in months :9

  10. People of the internet, black background and neon text = I don't read your blog. My eyes :(

  11. If I see any more Miley Cyrus references about #glutenfree I may just scream.

  12. [New Post] Weekly News Roundup, April 21st-April 28th

  13. Taste tested a ton of gluten-free products at @celiactour -- so many sweets! It was so nice to be able to walk up to any table and sample w/out worry

  14. Good morning! I hope everyone's weekend is going well so far. I'm so happy the sun is out again.

  15. Also, Lowe's is a dangerous place. I want to buy ALL THE THINGS /whimper.
