  4. I want to travel in Thailand and Malaysia in about three weeks. Having been recently diagnosed with Celiac Sprue and now having to remain gluten-free, I am concerned with the availability of places to get a truly gluten-free meal in restaurants. Many Asians cook with fresh vegetables and spices as well as other fresh ingredients, but are they cooked in containers that will contaminate the food with gluten? Since I will be traveling by car and eating in many restaurants, are there any suggestions about staying gluten-free? I would appreciate any help and any advice that anyone cares to share with me. Thanks!
