  1. Wheat Belly

Great article and makes a lot of sense to my reaction to gluten free diet ....No more cravings for sweet stuff or overeating all the time and i have lost 14lbs and feel great....Wish i had found out years ago .....
  2. After going gluten free about 8 weeks ago I had symptoms that I hadn't had before ( extreme fatigue, brain fog and breathlessness) my original symptoms had always been digestive. As long as you stay on the gluten free it will get better just stick with it just remember how ill you felt before .You will get to know what foods cause you problems listen to your body it knows what it needs and what it doesn't ,I take a muti-vitamin supplement everyday and digestive enzymes and feel better than ever. Hope you start to feel the benefits soon.
  3. Back On Gluten

The docs wouldn't ask someone with a broken foot to keep kicking a wall to see if it hurts .....Stay off the gluten you don't need the endoscopy just to have a label...If it hurts already its not worth the hassle Rich
  4. Hi everyone just looking for help .......After being gluten free for about 5 weeks i was getting to feel a lot better acid reflux had lessened, bloating was almost gone stomach cramps were few and far between and constipation was getting better, but went to a dinner party last week and although our friends had made every effort for me i am pretty sure i got glutened..... Since then my constipation is back but I have been extremely fatigued all week with a really fuzzy head, chest tightness and an almost uncontrollable hunger along with stomach cramps again .....This week i have felt worse than ever is it possible that your symptoms change or get worse really confused Thanks Rich
  5. Don't eat much seafood and can't remember the last time i did really .....But I will definitley be aware of this in the future... Thanks
  6. Think you could be right about the chocolate and it could have been the salted cashews as i have had the same reaction to salted pretzels. thanks
  7. I have been gluten free for about 3 weeks and all of my symptoms have been improving mainly stomach problems i have been having, so today after feeling pretty good all day I came home and ate some chocolate covered peanut ( only a small handful) and a couple of salted cashews now i feel real sick and have bloating , doesn't say they contain gluten am i missing something .
  8. I get really bad acid reflux just before pains in my stomach start usually after eating pastries, bread ,chocolate pasta also after eating peppers and tomatoes especially when they are cooked,After eating pretzels i get an urge to vomit that then seems to trigger about a week of my stomach only being able to handle rice chicken and vegetables also lower back ache and pain in my stomach....I have had 2 days off work this week due to all of this and only after about 5 days am i starting to feel a little better..... Do i need to go gluten free Driving me insane now
  9. Hi I am new to this forum but have suspected I may be celiac for some time, My symptoms come and go and always have a build up to them which starts with acid reflux then a grumbling stomach which then turns to stomach pain (sometimes very severe). Sometimes when I eat I get an overwhelming urge to vomit this nausea comes out of nowhere and this then sees me sick for at least a week during which the all i seem to eat is chicken , vegetables and fruit,. I know that bread , pastries chocolate and a lot of strong flavoured crisps seem to start my symptoms so at the moment have no idea what i can and can't eat. I also sometimes wake up in the morning really off balance as though drunk is this anything to do with celiacs. Hope to hear from someone soon its driving me crazy. Thanks Rich
