  1. Hi there, I read your post and am interested in finding out the Sjogrens was dignosed. I've had minor health issues for many many years. These have included cronic constipation, tiredness, overweight and issues with my eyes. Although they have improved gluten free. I used to use the artifical tears daily but now I' probably on used them 3 times in the last 4 weeks. I've been tested twice via blood tests for the Sjogren's - both times negative. Once (bloods) for celiacs - negative. It's extremely frustrating as you would like someone to say - "This is what is wrong with you and this is how you treat it". Since being gluten free I have noticed a big differenece with my eyes and my ability to focus and not feel like I need to be asleep 24 hours in each day. Please, I would like to know about the Sjogrens. Thank you and God Bless Karen from Newcastle
  2. Dry Mouth A Side Effect?

Hi there, I'm wondering if someone might be able to give me some direction. I have uncomfortable dry mouth, although there is still saliva. At times it can be thick and other times very running. There have also been periods when all seems well. I have been gluten free for neally two weeks now, have noticed a huge difference in a few things. Still have a long way to go. I have been tested for Sjogrens Syndrome twice, both times normal to negative. I was experiencing issues with eyes but that seems to have fixed itself with going off gluten. I have also had my eyes tested and it appears there are no dry spots and tears ducks seem OK. The fact that it's happening is extremely annoying. Anyone else had issues, what steps did you take and did it go away, if so, how long did it take. Thanks everyone for you advise, it is much appreciated. God Bless Karen from Newcastle - Australia
  3. Hi there, Thanks so much for this post. I am only just starting to looking into the creams, shampoos and cosmetics I use. I am very happy to know that a large number of Joico products are gluten free. I have been using them for many years and am a big fan. If anyone has any information of cosmetics ie lipsticks that are gluten free, that would be much appreciated. I am specifically thinking of Mary Kay products as they are what I currently use. Thanks heaps again Karen from Newcastle - Australia

  8. Glutened

Hi everyone, Just wondering if someone can give me some input. I've been doing the gluten free thing for two weeks now (after numerous negative tests) and have noticed a hugh difference. I'm wondering how long you have to be on the diet before you notice a reaction if you eat gluten. Also, since being on the diet I've experienced at time extreme heartburn, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Would love any advise or suggestions. With regards - Karen
  9. Help - Need Some Advise

My Celiac's test was bloods and so was the Sjogrens tests. I have had thyroid checked - all good. Had allergy testing - NOTHING. Tests where also bloods. I have been Gluten free for neally a week now and have already noticed some improvement, which makes me very happy. Am planning on keeping food diary as I'm sure I will get the Gluten free thing wrong in the initial stages. This may help me also if I have any other good issues. Any additional advise would be much appreciated. Thanks heaps Karen
