  1. I totally Understand, My daughter Samm 14, is the same way..She was diagnosed in 2009 or 2010 by process of elimination due to high liver enzymes. Anyway other than that she had no symptoms. She also has Chron's and PSC. Things can be very overwhelming in the beginning, ok and other times too..WE did learn how much damage is done to her intestines if she eats Gluten. And how it can eventually affect other areas of her body. I wish you the best of luck..You are not alone Heather
  2. Hello all, I wanted to introduce myself. I am the mother of a 14 year Old with Celiac, Chron's and Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. She was diagnosed within the past three years with all this. We have not always followed the rules when came to her having gluten but learned our lesson when she spent 10 days in the hospital for pain and found her TTG was 23. Now things have totally changed and yes it is overwhelming, but I got to give her an early Christmas present of her own toaster. lol Anyway this will be our first Christmas traveling and it should be interesting for all. I have frozen meals prepared for her just in case we go to someone's house and there is nothing for her to eat. I was reading through the posts and I thank all of you for being here.
