  1. Aren't vitamin B12, iron and zinc the main deficiencies? Magnesium deficiency is probably an important one to consider too, isn't it?
  2. That's really interesting, I had glandular fever (i.e. mono) for a couple of years before I found out I was celiac. Never told once by a doctor though.
  3. Not necessarily in alabama,,, but... Did you try phoning Dr Block for a consultation in Tulsa, Oklahoma? He's very experienced with celiac disease and the gluten free diet...
  4. It's really hard, as I was only recently diagnosed and not only do I have to stay from all the foods I used to love, I now get sick at the slightest bit of contamination. Not fun. Perhaps you should ask your friends if they've been checked out. Just a thought.
