  1. Thanks for the input all! I saw the Gastroenterigst today. he did offer the biopsy. how ever he did state that the blood test that i had, was over 90plus %accurate. I think i will just start the diet. I was so sure that food was causing my problem that i have kept a food log on and off for the last year. I was able to find a 3-4 week period where there was little to no gluten except for a scone one week and a fast food hamburger on another week. On both of those days i listed bad gut problems in my notes thanks
  2. I had the blood tests done TISSUE TRANSGLUTAMINASE IgG 0.14 < 0.90 - Index Tissue transglutaminase IgA 1.78 < 0.90 - Index Now my Dr is stating that i have Celiac's I asked him about changeing my diet and he stated No not till i see a Gastroenterology specialist. he dosent want me to change my diet because the Gastroenterology specialist might not see the problem if i change my diet. This is what confuses me if the blood tests say i have the problem why wait!! I do have Hashimoto's and diverticulitizelites. could it be they know there is a problem and they cant figure it out?? or they dont want to do the leg work or maybe Cypro and pain meds are cheaper. RANT OFF I am willing to make a diet change i have keep a food log on and off for the last year or so. I can tell you that i do have a strong reaction to whey powder protien BIG TIME. Where do i start?? is there a book that will list gluten free foods. what is it i look for on food lables?? besides wheat?? thanks
  3. yes diverticulitis has been diagnosed. I have had ALL of the tests you listed above. I think the main reason they keep going back to the diverticulitis is that it has ruptured in the past and i had to have a operation. The CT scan i had yesterday showed that the diverticulitis look very good. Not my words the Dr's words. no inflmation although my white cell count was high. (sorry spelling). thanks for the info.
  4. So that is a postive test?? Like i said i think what ever is going on is food related. They kaiser have done nothing. They give me cypro and Flagyl for diverticulitez (sorry spelling) as i have had that in the past. I kept telling then that this problem what ever it is comes and goes to fast for it to be diverticulitez. Yesterday u was bent over in the ER and today i feel much better. I am just tired of being tired!!!
